    Harry Potter is an amazing and thrilling series of movies and books. The first book is about Harry first discovering that he is a wizard and meets exiting characters such as Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbldore, and much more. Hermione, Ron, and Harry go on lots of exciting adventures in just plain old book one. The first adventure is the Hogwarts Express. That's where all the main characters meet, such as Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The second adventure is the Sorting Hat, aka first time at hogwarts. All of his friends got Griffindoor, so Harry kept begging to the Sorting Hat to be anything but Slytherin because that's the house that Draco Malfoy got. Their third adventure was the forbidden woods because they had gotten punished for sneaking out. Finally their last adventure was getting the Sorcerers Stone. They had to go through a secret tunnel and Harry by himself found it because Ron and Hermione had to stay behind. Harry passed out but with the Sorcerers Stone and turns out...

       The Amulet books are action packed and full of fantasy. Emily and her brother Navin go on millions of adventures with Trellis the elf kings son, Misket a robot, their mom, and tons more. Their main goal is to defeat the elf king. Another villian is Ikol who is the person inside the Amulet. Max is a big character in a few of the books. He was taken over by Ikol when he had his Amulet. Ikol works for the elf king. At the end of one of the books Max eventually lets go of Ikol and dies. An interesting fact is that Max is actually as old as Emilys mom who is like 30 years old. Max looks young but he is actually fifty.

     Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate Dicamillo is a fun and amazing book. Towards the begining the main character, Opal, felt extremely lonely because her mother ran away around the time she was born. She left everything with her besides her clothes of course. Then Opal found a stray dog and took him in. That was the first time she felt joy in years. Like many other books this is action packed with a whole lot of characters. I haven't read the book in a while so my memory is a little foggy but I remember the most important part:Opal is Happy

      The Diary Of A Wimpy Kid is a funny movie plus phenomenal books . In most of the books there is always a giant problem. Anybody who is a fan of the series and loves reading would know this. These books can really teach you a life lesson. Like you know how Greg is always trying so hard to fit in, well Rowley doesn't even try and he gets pretty popular. For example in "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, The Third Wheel" Greg tries so hard to get a date to the valentines dance and Rowley just talks to Abigail and BOOM they start dating after the dance while Greg is left in the dust because he tries too hard! The whole point of the book is pretty much saying people love you for who you are!
